The value of assets in ABLV mutual funds exceeds EUR 100 million

Riga, Latvia, October 22, 2014, 09:00 / Investments

Despite the difficult geopolitical and macroeconomic situation resulting periodically in radical price fluctuations in the financial markets, our mutual funds managed by ABLV Asset Management, IPAS are showing rather good results.

That fact boosts interest to invest in our mutual funds; as a result more than 180 clients have already become investors.

In April 2007 we started to offer our first mutual funds. Today there are 10 mutual funds available to our clients: 4 stock funds, 2 emerging countries funds, 2 CIS countries funds and 2 global market funds. The very first funds: ABLV Emerging Markets USD Bond Fund, ABLV Emerging Markets EUR Bond Fund, ABLV High Yield CIS USD Bond Fund ABLV Global USD Stock Index Fund and ABLV Global EUR Stock Index Fund have had 7 years experience.

Since the beginning of the year, the asset value of our mutual funds has grown by more that EUR 13 million and now the value of assets exceeds EUR 100 million. One of the main reasons for this growth is the fact that during the period of low interest rate in the USA and Europe many of our clients wanted to diversify their investment portfolios by including shares of ABLV mutual funds, which allowed them to significantly increase the yield of total portfolio in comparison with deposits. Another essential reason was the boost of confidence in our management company ABLV Asset Management, IPAS, the officers of which show high level of professionalism.

As it was announced previously, having obtained the license from FCMC and CSSF (The Regulator of Luxembourg banks), ABLV mutual funds have been included in the Luxembourg securities market. Therefore, they have become available to the clients of our subsidiary bank ABLV Bank Luxembourg.

Taking into account a growing demand for our products, we are planning to widen the list of available funds — at least every year to establish a new mutual fund, so that our clients could invest funds in a wider spectrum of financial instruments.

Latest information about the results of ABLV open-end mutual funds is available at www.ablv.com, as well as at the Baltic Stock Exchange home page NASDAQ OMX.
