We are glad to report that we have completed first stage of upgrading our bank remote service system — Internetbank AB.LV. Developing the new solution, we retained all the best features available in the current Internet bank and introduced new ones suggested by our customers.

Currently, payment card transactions are available in the new Internet bank. It will be possible for customers:

- to follow information on their card account balance and transactions;

- to view history of payment card transactions;

- to block or unblock payment cards.

It should be noted that this is just a first large step in upgrading Internet bank. During the following year, information on investment products will be added to the Internet bank: customers will be provided an opportunity to follow changes in value of financial instruments, view information on the cash account of their portfolio, and also perform transactions with financial instruments. During the last stage, the sections available in the current Internet bank — current accounts, savings and loans — will be added to the new Internet bank.

Until upgrading of the new Internet bank is completed, customers will have access to two Internet banks — the existing one, where current accounts, savings, investments, and loans are available, and the new one, the functionality of which will be increased gradually.
