Benoît Wtterwulghe

Chief Executive Officer

Benoît Wtterwulghe has been working in the wealth management since 1994. He started his career as a mutual fund manager. Benoît used to work as a director of a Private Banking company servicing high net worth individuals in Antwerp (Belgium). He participated in the launch of a very successful Private Bank in Luxembourg. He joined ABLV Bank Luxembourg in 2012.

Benoît is a commercial Engineer of the University of Louvain (Belgium), he has a master’s degree from ICADE Business school (Spain) and an MBA certificate of Brandeis University (USA).

In his free time he loves travelling, playing golf and alpine skiing.

Aivars Rauska

Deputy Chief Executive Officer

He joined ABLV Bank in 1995. He studied finance and credit in the University of Latvia. Till 1997 he was the Head of Payment and Correspondent Accounts Department in Latvia. Since 1998 he has been in charge of Latvian customers’ service. At the beginning of 2014 joined the team of ABLV Bank Luxembourg.

He loves playing volleyball, hockey and table tennis.

Frank Lendorf

Chief Investment Manager

Frank Lendorf earned his university degrees in business, economics and financial management in Berlin and Edinburgh. His doctoral thesis dealt with a topic in behavioural finance: the perceived utility of investment results. 

Frank's professional career started in 1996 at Deutsche Bank in Berlin and later took him to Frankfurt. In 2005, he took over the responsibility as an Executive Director and Head of Portfolio Management at WestLB International in Luxembourg. He also worked in senior portfolio management roles for VM Bank / DekaBank Luxembourg before he joined ABLV Bank Luxembourg in 2012 as the bank's Chief Investment Manager. Furthermore, Frank is a lecturer in the field of investment and finance at University of Luxembourg and at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

In his leisure time, Frank likes to do sports, read and listen to music. He is a loyal supporter of Hertha BSC, the old-established Berlin football club.

Haluk Sosay

Chief Financial Officer

Haluk Sosay has graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Business Administration in 1992. He has studied English for Economics at L.I.F.E. Institute of Adelphi University, New York. He was the youngest C.P.A. of Turkey in 1994.

His career has started and continued always in multinational banks in Turkey and Luxembourg.

He likes travelling, reading and playing tennis.

Gilbert Angelelli

Chief Information Officer

Gilbert started his career in 1995 in a medium size bank in Luxembourg where he became IT manager in 2001 and Deputy Vice President in 2005. After 15 years, he left the bank to become a Chief Executive Officer of a consulting company. After this consulting experience, he joined a major bank in Luxembourg to become a Service Leader. He joined ABLV Bank Luxembourg in February 2012.

Gilbert has an IT engineer university degree from the “Institut Universitaire Technologique” in France and from University of Luxembourg.

Gilbert loves to spend free time with his family. He has a passion for motorcycles and enjoys going for rides with friends. Gilbert likes all type of martial arts and practices them for more than 20 years.

Jean-Luc Andrin

Head of Back Office

Jean-Luc Andrin has been working in the banking sector since 1982. He started as a private banker in France, then in Luxembourg. Jean-Luc became a forex and money market treasurer, and a security trader. 12 years ago he began working as a Head of Back Office. In 2007 he created a back office in a new Luxembourgish private bank from scratch.

Jean-Luc does running. He participated in 14 marathons all over Europe. Jean-Luc Andrin loves cooking and he is an amateur of French wines.
